Hour of Code!
Code Monster - this interactive tutorial allows you go get started in code writing almost immediately. It's easy, fun, and allows you to progress through exciting experiments using simple animations and drawings. This great program uses examples to introduce programming concepts such as loops, conditionals, expressions, variables, and functions.
Web Turtle - Create interesting shapes and drawings using a turtle! This drawing program uses "Turtle Graphics." The turtle leaves behind a trail, as you give it commands to move around the screen. Try to edit a drawing, or work with new geometric shapes that you want to create.
Code Combat - Play video games and learn to code at the same time. You can get started by playing anonymously. If you want to track and save progress, it is recommended that you join the class as a student using the class code SizeThingReady if you want to code in python. Use the class code ThinkHorseLazy if you want to code in Javascript.
